KHADC passes vote on account for 2020-21

SHILLONG: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) passed the vote on account for  the fiscal 2020-2021 amounting to Rs 81, 21, 54, 400 at the special session convened on Tuesday.

Chief Executive Member (CEM), Titos Chyne presented the vote on account with effect from April 1 to June 30, 2020.

In view of the outbreak of Covid-19, the MDCs   maintained prescribed social distancing  in the KHADC session.

While presenting the vote on account, Chyne  gave details of the allocation for various department as follows: General Administration Department gets an amount of Rs 10, 59, 45, 690, Law department Rs14,22,480, Revenue and Finance Department is Rs 1, 84, 78, 300, forest department is Rs 2, 04, 75, 050, Administration of Justice and Judicial department is Rs 1, 12, 53, 240, Legislative Department is Rs 1, 66, 19, 300, Education department is Rs 3, 31, 360, Civil Works & Development department is Rs 62, 50, 59, 500 and Rs 1, 25, 69, 480 for Enforcement Scheme for Protection of Tribal Land & Interest respectively.
