Bethany Hospital patient jumps to death

SHILLONG:  A patient admitted in Bethany hospital in Shillong died on Tuesday after he had jumped through the window of his ward.

It may be mentioned that authorities had sealed the hospital on Monday night after one of its doctors had tested COVID-19 positive.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that the incident was not related to COVID-19 and the person was a drug abuser.
