Macmillan donates money to orphanages

NONGSTOIN: Nongstoin MLA Macmillan Byrsat visited three orphanages in Nongstoin on the eve of Easter, and donated money.
The MLA donated Rs 30,000 to Rev. S Wollington Children’s Home and Rs 20,000 each to Nongpyndeng, St. Peter Orphanage Home and Green Pasture Children’s Home in Pyndengrei respectively.
Byrsat along with the children, church elders and priests conducted prayer service seeking blessings and strength to fight against coronavirus crisis.
Tbn. AS Dohling, secretary of Life Light Focus Concern (LLFC) the project of New Nongstoin District, the sponsoring body of Children’s Home, said that even though the service of Easter Sunday was not held in the church like every year but the celebration this year was very resourceful.
