Drug users held
On April 14, police arrested six persons – Daphylla Warjri, Ryan Warlarpih, Skhemkupar Massar, Nangaiboklang Khriam, Richard Japang and Harold Warjri – after being apprehended by local residents from the graveyard at Lawmali, Shillong. After inquiry, it transpired that they are alleged drug-users and also violated the curfew imposed by the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills.

Ton Sangma lodged a complaint that on April 12, miscreants broke into his house at Rilbong, Shillong and stole Rs 4,700 and one mobile phone.

Deepak Roy lodged a complaint that on April 12, miscreants cheated him of Rs 10,200 through his HDFC Credit Card under the name ‘Google UC Web’ and ‘Google Temporary Hold’.
