Mizoram health min seeks safety of Mizos

SHILLONG: Mizoram Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dr R Lalthangliana on Friday petitioned his counterpart in Meghalaya AL Hek to ensure that Mizo community in the state lives peacefully.
In a letter to Hek, the Mizoram minister said that members of the Mizo community, including students and visitors who live and stranded in Shillong, are shocked with the turn of events.
Lalthangliana lamented that undesirable rumour mongers have spread messages which can foment hatred among communities in Shillong which deserves to be condemned by all.
Earlier, he had said that Meghalaya is doing very well in taking all precautionary measures in preventing COVID-19
