Tracking of individuals with travel history

TURA: As part of the mitigating measure against the risk of outbreak of pandemic in Garo Hills region, the District Administration have initiated the process of tracking the whereabouts of Indians and foreigners who have come to West Garo Hills after January 1 from countries severely affected by the COVID-19 virus and will be conducting screening of those individuals as per the protocol prescribed by the Ministry of Health.
Persons hailing from outside of India with the said travel history are directed to identify themselves and citizens having knowledge of presence or arrival of such individuals in their locality or village are also directed to share the details.

Further, in case the foreigner or Indian citizen concerned is found to have left the district, the same may be confirmed and intimated to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills, Tura.
