Case against woman for creating ruckus

SHILLONG: Police have registered a case against a lady for alleged insolent behaviour with officers at Laitumkhrah Police Station.
A senior police officer said investigation was on to ascertain the facts. The case was registered at Laitumkhrah Police Station.
A video, which went viral, showed the lady, who was said to be daughter/step-daughter of a DIG, arguing with police officers.
She questioned why she was taken to the police station at 1:30 am. She wanted the police to give her the names of those who manned the check post at Dhankheti.
She was charged with driving a police vehicle at night.
It was learnt that the Dorbar Shnong Malki resolved the issue.
