GUWAHATI: It has been a boost to Meghalaya’s combat against COVID-19 pandemic as villagers in many parts of the state have come forward to set up quarantine centres to house residents of the state who were stranded outside because of COVID-19 lockdown and are being brought back to the state.
One such community quarantine centre has come up at Bajengdoba in Garo hills. This community quarantine centre was on Saturday inspected by the local MLA, P R Marak.
“It is great to see the involvement of community and the local MLA in these difficult times to come together and fight COVID-19 pandemic,” tweeted the Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma
