Now, SIs can file COVID cases

Shillong: The state government has allowed sub-inspectors to file complaint under the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides the Deputy Superintendent of Police.
The order from the Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Political Department, comes in the wake of Centre’s recent revised guidelines to curb the spread of COVID-19.
