Exporters’ body thanks govt for trade resumption

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya International Exporters Chamber of Commerce (MIECC) has thanked the government for considering reopening of export with Bangladesh from June 8 after a petition was sent to the government by the Chamber of Commerce.
“We assured the government full cooperation especially in the matter related to the livelihood of the people of border areas, and we are committed to follow health protocol”, said Dolly Khonglah, secretary, MIECC.
