64.80 % pass 10th Board examination in Assam

GUWAHATI: The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) announced the results of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination, 2020 on Saturday morning. The pass percentage is 64.80. Over 3.42 lakh students had appeared for the class 10th board examinations  this year.

As many as 42 students have secured the top ten positions including 24 from Assamese medium schools. The results were declared digitally by the SEBA for the first time though its official websites as well as in some other websites. Rank holders were informed about their results on their mobile phone numbers.

Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita from Padum Pukhuri High School, Darrang secured the first position with 595 marks.

The 2nd position was secured by Alankrita Gautam Baruah from Salt Brook School, Dibrugarh with 594 marks.

Debisma Priya Borah from Gyanjyoti Academy, Narayapur, Jyotishman Deva Sarma from Shankardev Shishu Bidya Niketan, Borbhag and Chaki G Bulton from St. Mary’s H.S. School, Guwahati jointly secured the 3rd position with 591 marks.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal congratulated the rank holders and all those who passed in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Examinations.

‘Heartiest congratulations to all my young friends who came out with flying colours in the HSLC & AHM Examinations 2020. My best wishes for a bright future ahead. Those who didn’t get expected results should not lose hope & keep working hard. Success will definitely be yours,’ Sonowal tweeted.
