SHILLONG: KHNAM MLA Adelbert Nongrum is maintaining a stoic silence on the dare issued by Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong asking him to withdraw support to the MDA.
When contacted on Monday, Nongrum refused to speak on the issue.
On Sunday, Tynsong had dared Nongrum to withdraw support to the MDA after the latter announced that he would abstain from voting in Friday’s Rajya Sabha poll claiming that he was against the MDA decision to field NPP state president WR Kharlukhi as the consensus candidate since the party was in favour of implementing CAA.
