Non-contact sports, minor mineral export allowed during curfew

TURA: The curfew under section 144 CrPC in West Garo Hills District has been further extended till 6 AM of July 1.

While all other restrictions and advisories remain the same, Non-Contact and Indirect Contact Sporting activities have been allowed in the fresh order subject to strict compliance with the SOP issued by Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Meghalaya.

In addition, the export of minor minerals has also been permitted with strict compliance with SOP issued by the Government of Meghalaya, Commerce and Industries Department.
