Protocols for non-contact sports in EJH

KHLIEHRIAT: East Jaintia Hills District Magistrate, on Friday, issued standard operating procedure (SOP) for resumption of non-contact sporting activities in the district.
The SOP advises athletes, players and training staff or coaches to maintain social distancing besides following other COVID-19 protocols issued by the government.
Athletes are to strictly refrain from sharing equipments such as balls, shuttlecock, racquet et al, and training gears. In case it is unavoidable, the equipment should be disinfected prior to sharing.
No spectators are allowed within sporting venue at any time.
The district magistrate informed that athletes will be provided with consent form at the sporting premises, which should be filled and submitted to the concerned village heads or the relevant club or association.
