Training on Covid-19 management underway in SWGH

 TURA: The multiple day training on COVID 19 management for Government employees of line departments of South West Garo Hills District began on Tuesday at Ampati multi facility centre.

A Medical panel comprising of Dr. M Noreen Sangma, DIO, South West Garo Hills and Dr. Mikrak Sangma, M&HO, South West Garo Hills is giving the training in four batches to teams constituted by concerned government departments and stakeholders.

The training which will conclude on Thursday, emphasizes on strict maintenance of SOPs issued by the health department in the workplace, early detection of infected through symptoms, maintenance of social distancing and adequate hand hygiene through regular washing with soap and water.

Earlier, Additional Deputy Commissioner S C Laloo addressed the gathering and said that the training was being given to facilitate master trainers to train stakeholders at the village level.
