2 more die due to COVID-19 in Assam, death toll up to 48

GUWAHATI: Two more persons died of COVID-19  in Assam on Wednesday taking the state toll up to 48.

“Very sad to share that Smt Hira Devi (45) from Kamrup Metro & Dr Pradip Kumar Sharma (75) from Tinsukia succumbed to #COVID19 today, as per the report of Death Audit Board of Assam,” tweeted the Health Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma .
