JOWAI: The District Magistrate of West Jaintia Hills has extended the declaration of containment zones in some villages from 6 am of Wednesday till 6 am of next Saturday.
Villages that have been declared as containment zone include, Amlarem, Lad-japlem Amshipai, Krang Pamtdong Amsarin, Lai Lyngdoh, Amlatdoh under Amlarem Civil Sub-Division and Newhill in Jowai.
