Meghalaya COVID update: 64 new cases; total active cases 1211

SHILLONG:  With detection of 64 new COVID19 cases and recovery of 21 more patients, the number of active cases in Meghalaya comes to 1211 so far today.

So far, 895 persons have recovered from the disease in the state which has reported eight deaths according to an official communique.

East Khasi Hills (EKH) has the maximum number of 847 active cases followed by 176 in West Garo Hills, 68 in Ri Bhoi, 43 in West Khasi Hills, 39 in East Garo Hills, 10 in North Garo Hills, 11 in South Garo Hills and three in South West Garo Hills.
