DC’s warning on entry into GH

TURA: West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Ram Singh has warned travellers not to enter Garo Hills from Assam via Rongsai-Pedaldoba-Bajengdoba route cautioning that this is not the designated entry route.

Issuing the warning through his official twitter handle, Ram Singh said that cases would be filed under Covid Rules, DM Act etc against anyone violating the order and that police have been brief on the matter.

Ram Singh also urged villagers and localities concerned to inform the police or the concerned BDO if they are witness to any violations.
