DDG, Guv hold talks on recruitment in state, NE

SHILLONG: Deputy Director General (DDG), Recruiting (North East states), Brigadier, NS Jadhav, on Friday conferred with Governor Satyapal Malik on matters pertaining to recruitment in the armed forces in Meghalaya and others Northeastern states.
During the meeting, the DDG apprised the governor of affairs with regard to recruiting aspects in Northeastern states and also about the rallies being planned in the region including Meghalaya.
Malik, during the meeting, also appreciated the Headquarter Recruiting Zone for its work, thereby promoting national integration.
Only recently, the governor had met General Officer Commanding 101 Area, Lieutenant General Tumul Varma, where the latter briefed the former on the on the role and responsibility of 101 Area and its contributions in upholding the glorious traditions of the Indian Army.
