Saffron party felicitates health workers

SHILLONG: The Pynthorbah BJP unit, on Wednesday, felicitated as many as 60 ASHA and Anganwadi workers of the constituency with mobile phones and Rs 1,000 each.
The party unit also felicitated Health Minister AL Hek and DHS (MI) Dr Aman War as well as pastor of the Pynthorbah Presbyterian Church, Minnot Sohliya, who took keen interest in ensuring ration for the needy during lockdown period.
He had also led people in sanitising the locality.
On the day, Hek also provided financial assistance of Rs 1,000 each to a total of 400 taxi drivers from the constituency.
On the occasion, sanitary napkins were also distributed to ASHA and Anganwadi workers.
Others who were present include Rangbah Shnong, S Rumong besides others.
