Tele counselling
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) with India Co-Win Action Network (I-CAN) has created a network of trained counsellors/psychologists/experts to provide psychological first-aid and emotional support through its toll-free tele-counselling –– SAMVEDNA (1800-121-2830) to children who are affected during pandemic. The tele-counselling is available from 10 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 8 pm (Monday to Saturday).

The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) has informed the public that rice under NFSA and non-NFSA for September and pulses under PMGKAY for the month of September has been released through the respective fair price shops. “Any non-supply, overcharging of rate, supply of less prescribed scale or inferior quality may be reported to the office of the DC (Supply), East Khasi Hills District,” a statement on Thursday said.
