In a bid to assist schools in tackling the pandemic, the Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (DBT-IBSD), Shillong, distributed the institute-made surface disinfectant to Sein Jaintia Secondary School, Qualapatty, in presence Principal V Shylla and teachers of the school, which caters to the economically-weaker section of the society through free education from nursery to class VII.

Body found
An unidentified male body was recovered from Pan Bagan (areca leaf field) at Pyngker-B village in Ri Bhoi recently. The body has been kept at the Civil Hospital Nongpoh morgue for identification and claiming. The deceased is 5-feet tall, dark complexioned, has a round face and a goatee, slim built with no identification marks on the body.
