Police remove KSU posters against Bengalis in Meghalaya

SHILLONG: Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) on Wednesday hanged several posters along the city roads targeting the Bengali community living in the state. The KSU has termed members of Bengali community in Meghalaya as ‘Bangladeshis’ in those banners.

However, Meghalaya Police swung into action and removed all posters. Police have appealed for cooperation for maintaining communal harmony.
