Felicitation
The Seng Samla Shella (youth wing), as part of silver jubilee celebration, will confer the students from Shella who have passed various degree and board exams and secured 60% or above marks with the organisation’s ‘Academic Excellence Award 2020’, on December 5. Students have been asked to submit their marksheet (or certificate) and epic card on or before November 20.

Holiday
The Commissioner & Secretary of General Administration (A) Department has informed that November 13 is a holiday on account of Wangala Festival instead of November 6 as per the holiday list.

Night curfew
District Magistrate of Ri Bhoi has extended the night curfew in the district till November 15 for timings falling between 10 pm and 5 am daily.

Literary meet
The Manipuri Sahitya Parishad Meghalaya on Monday held its 16th Annual Conference and Literary Meet virtually during which a poets’ meet was also held. Around 23 bards from across North East and Bangladesh participated.
