Police reject ‘fake news’

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Police has debunked claims pertaining to the conduct of the written examination for various posts available in the Police department.
In a statement, the police said that three websites — https://prepp.in, https://www.fresherslive.com and https://www.freshe rsnow.com — have been claiming that Meghalaya Police will conduct the written examination for the various recruitment posts in November this year.
Terming the information published in the aforesaid websites as ‘Fake News’, the police have said that the department has not issued any official communication with regard to the conduct of exams against the existing vacancy.
