Break-in
Lod Napa of CPWD Qtr, Shillong, lodged a complaint that between October 30 and November 16, miscreant(s) broke into his residential quarter and stole household items.
Danielstar R’Jeen, Secy., The Shillong Cooperative Marketing Society, Motphran, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on November 14, around noon, he learnt that miscreant(s) broke into his office and stole Rs 80,000 in cash.
Alvareen Swer of Laitkor Rngi, Shillong, lodged a complaint that between November 14 and 17, miscreant(s) broke into her residential building located near Hill Crest School, Rynjah, Shillong, and stole her tenant’s laptop and shoes, while he was away.

Mobile phone stolen
Annie Basan lodged a complaint that on November 17, between 4 pm and 4.30 pm, miscreant(s) stole her mobile phone from her office at Mahindra Finance RPG Complex, Keating Road, Shillong.

Cattle theft
Fall Tariang lodged a complaint that on November 16, around 1 am, miscreant(s) stole two head of cattle from his cowshed at Pdeng Khme in West Jaintia Hills.

Fraudulent transaction
Avinah Gupta, in a complaint, said that that he had registered himself at ‘naukrisolution.in’ and on November 16, around 1.22 pm, he received an anonymous call in which the caller stated that he was a representatives of ‘naukri.com’ and asked him to make a payment of Rs 30 as registration fee. Later, the complainant made an online payment of Rs 30 through his HDFC Bank account; however, Rs 14,357 was debited from his account.
