Siju market ordered to close

TURA: Siju market in South Garo Hills has been ordered to close from Wednesday to Saturday in view of increasing Covid-19 cases in Siju area.

The order in this regard was issued by South Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, H B Marak on Tuesday evening.

“Necessary measures will be taken by the Medical Department to contain the spread of the virus in the area,” the order stated.
