African Swine Fever: Villages de-contained

KHLIEHRIAT, Dec 1: The East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner has de-contained two villages after no case of African Swine Fever (ASF) Disease was reported since last 45 days.
According to a statement, the two villages are SynrangShahkhain village (Rymbai) and Wapung Skur village. “However, in order to prevent further spread of the disease, the two villages must still follow bio-containment, bio-security and preventive measures as laid down earlier,” the statement said.
