Ao makes maiden visit to Garo Hills

SHILLONG, Dec 9: State BJP in-charge, M Chuba Ao, made his maiden visit to Garo Hills and was felicitated by the party members there.
A meeting was also held in Tura Regional office which was attended by party members, who opined about various issues including corruption in Garo Hills.
During the meeting, held under the Chairmanship of state BJP president Ernest Mawrie, woes of the members in organising the party in Garo Hills were also heard.
Mawrie, during the meeting, also gave opportunities to the members to call a spade a spade about various issues and sought reports of the organisational structure in the districts and mandals.
Meanwhile, Ao has assured to work out solutions to the issues being faced by the people in Garo Hills.
