TURA, Jan 3: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra, East Garo Hills, conducted Swachhta Pakhwada and also celebrated the Farmers Day and webcasting of PM kisan money at 12 different villages in the district.
Over 400 farmers participated in the programmes in which activities like cleanliness & plantation drive in villages & KVK office, organic farming benefits, importance of hygiene & sensitization, precautionary measures against Covid-19 pandemic, vermin-composting and others were undertaken.
During the Pakhwada, the KVK also created awareness on “03 New Farm Bills-2020” among farmers.
