In the report “Meghalaya’s barren landscape poised for a big time change” (ST Jan 7, 2021), it was erroneously mentioned that the sustainable forest management and improved livelihoods programme under the Community Led Landscape Management Project (CLLMP), implemented by the Pondicherry-based NGO, Sadhana Forest, led by Israeli national Aviram Rozin, is funded by JICA. The 48 million dollar (Rs 321 crore) project is funded by the World Bank.
