Minor plunges to death in WKH

NONGSTOIN, Jan 9: An eight-year-old was reportedly killed after she fell from a five-storey building in Upper New Nongstoin.
According to sources, the incident took place on Saturday around 2 pm when one Jenifer Lyngkhoi from Riangsih village, who was sojourning at her relative’s in Upper New Nongstoin, accompanied her mother to the rooftop while the latter was drying clothes.
However, to her misfortune, the eight-year-old fell from the top of the building and sustained grievous injuries. She was rushed to Nongstoin Civil Hospital where the doctor declared her brought dead.
Meanwhile, legal formalities have been conducted and the minor’s body has been handed over to the family.
