HSPDP not keen to contest bypolls

SHILLONG, March 25: The Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP), an ally of the MDA coalition, is not keen on contesting the upcoming bypolls in the state.
“Right now we are not keen,” HSPDP MLA and former minister, Samlin Malngiang said on Thursday.
Malngiang however informed that the party will hold a meeting next week to discuss the issue.
