Workshop on organic farming

SHILLONG, April 24: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra, ICAR, West Garo Hills, organised a one-day sensitisation workshop on organic farming for sustainable agricultural production in Garo Hills on Friday. The programme was attended by West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh as the chief guest during the inaugural function.
The workshop was also attended by farmers, students of Don Bosco College, officers from line departments, et al. During the workshop, speakers from NEHU, Tura campus, as well as KVK, West Garo Hills, shared their know-how on organic farming with the participants.
