10 vials of Remdesivir seized from Faridabad

Chandigarh, May 9 : Haryana’s Food and Drugs Administration Department on Sunday said it has seized 10 vials of Remdesivir from Faridabad town being sold in the black market.
Six vials were seized from Aankhir Chowk, while four from Metro Hospital. The accused in both raids were arrested.
Sharing details regarding hoarding of essential drugs for Covid-19 treatment, Health Minister Anil Vij said cases of black marketing and overcharging have become rampant due to which the department has been keeping a strict vigil.
More than 15 FIRs have been registered.
