MLA announces scholarships for vaccinated families in Jowai

SHILLONG, June 24: In a bid to encourage vaccination among locals, Jowai MLA Wailadmiki Shylla has announced scholarships for those families who have been inoculated against COVID-19.
Speaking to media persons here, the MLA said that 10 families out of the total, who have been vaccinated between June 21 and 30, will be selected through lottery for the scholarship. “This scholarship can be used by the families for the studies of their children,” Shylla said.

The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA) has appealed to the citizens to render their services in the fight against COVID.
