NONGPOH, July 17: Police on Saturday arrested president of the Confederation of Ri Bhoi People (CORP), central body, along with his accomplices for allegedly manhandling workers and damaging properties of two petrol pumps in the district.
As per sources, it was alleged that Ryntathiang and with his accomplices —Johnfess Lakhiat and Shining Kyntla — had gone to the Umkrukru Service Station at Umdohbyrthih on Friday around 9:30 pm and manhandled workers of the petrol pump and damaged the window panes of the office.
The trio, after leaving Umkrukru Service Station, then reportedly went to Nongpluh Service Station, located at Lumdaitkhla Bhoirymbong.
