Govt to launch teachers’ training programme

SHILLONG, Aug 6: The Education department will launch the National Initiative for School Heads and Teachers for Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA), an integrated training programme for secondary and higher secondary schoolteachers of Meghalaya, on Monday at 11 am at the Conference Hall, Directorate of Educational Research & Training, Shillong.
Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui is expected to attend the programme as the chief guest.
