Unclaimed body
A body of one Ravi Chettri, aged approximately 34 years old, was on Monday recovered from Municipal Parking Lot (Ground Floor), Mawlonghat, Shillong. According to a statement from police, the body was subsequently shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital for autopsy. The body has been, meanwhile, kept at the hospital morgue for claim. According to the statement, the height of the deceased is approximately 5.5 feet and his complexion is dark. He was found wearing black jacket with orange-coloured zip, dark blue stretch shirt, black track pant with red stripes and black slippers.

Freedom Run
The office of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Ri Bhoi has invited interested persons to participate in the Freedom Run 2.0 organised as part of the Centre’s nationwide programme ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ to commemorate the 75th year of India’s Independence. The run will commence from Saiden Indoor Stadium to Pahamsyiem Stadium Nongpoh at 7 am on August 21.
