Free registration for two lakh students in Fit India Quiz

SHILLONG, Oct 1: The Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has announced India’s first-of-a-kind fitness and sports quiz for schoolchildren, which will be organised by Sports Authority of India.
The Ministry, in a major boost, has also revealed that 2 lakh students nominated from 1 lakh schools will be registered free of cost for the Fit India Quiz.
In other words, every school can nominate a maximum two students for free registration for the online quiz on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Under circumstances in which the school is willing to nominate more than two students, a registration fee of Rs 50 per student will be levied.
The quiz will be a mix of online and broadcast rounds and is open for students from all age groups and the format has been designed in an inclusive manner where the school students will get an opportunity to test their knowledge on fitness and sports knowledge against their peers.
