Theft
Manoj Kumar Prasad lodged a complaint that on September 18 around 10 am, he found that unknown miscreants stole goods valued around Rs 50,000 from his godown at Iewduh. On September 20, unknown miscreants broke into his godown again and stole goods valued around Rs 8 lakh.
Ajay Kumar lodged a complaint that between October 13 and 31, during his absence, unknown miscreants broke into his residence at Oakland, Shillong, and purloined valuable documents and materials valued around Rs 25,000.

Cattle seized
Coy Commander B-Coy, 30 Bn., BSF, Muktapur BOP, lodged a complaint that on November 1, BSF personnel on duty detected four heads of cattle from a place near BP No. 1287/5-S, West Jaintia Hills. The cattle were reportedly meant to be smuggled to Bangladesh by unknown miscreant(s).
