In a bid to thwart any kind of crimes against women, the West Jaintia Hills Police under the leadership of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Crime), CW Lyngdoh, along with other women police officers organised an awareness programme on ‘Crimes against Women and Children’ at Mootyrshiah village under Raliang Police Outpost on Saturday. The programme was organised as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and was attended by women, youths and elders of the village besides members of the Village Defence Party.
