Six-day course for academic administrators gets under way

SHILLONG, Dec 1: A six-day short-term course for academic administrators, organised by the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) of North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), got under way on Wednesday.
According to a statement, as many as 43 people — 19 from NEHU and 24 from other universities and colleges — registered for the programme.
NEHU Vice Chancellor, Prof .Prabha Shankar Shukla, after inaugurating the programme, touched upon the role of academic administrators.
Hoping that the participants will benefit out of the programme, he expressed his gratitude to the Director I/C UGC- HRDC, NEHU, for organising the event.
