State logs nine new cases, one death

SHILLONG, Dec 14: The state on Tuesday recorded nine fresh COVID-19 cases while one more patient died of the infection taking the death toll to 1,477.
The active tally now stands at 138 while 83,092 people have recovered from the viral infection including 73 on the day.
Eight fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills and one in West Garo Hills.
