PDS rice for Sohra released

SHILLONG, Dec 20: PDS rice for December has been released for NFSA and non-NFSA consumers at their respective Fair Price Shops under Pynursla Civil Sub-Division. In this regard, a notification was issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply), Pynursla Civil Sub-Division.
The scale of issue is 35 kg per card for AAY card holders at Rs 3 per kg, 5 kg per head for PHH card holders at Rs 3 per kg and 7.215 kg per householder for non-NFSA card holders at Rs 12.70 to Rs 13 per kg.
The sub-division authorities have asked all card-holders to submit their Aadhaar number to their concerned fair price shop dealers, and to report any case of non-supply, supply of less quantity or inferior quality immediately to the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply), Pynursla Civil Sub-Division, Pynursla. They have also asked the fair price shop owners to distribute the rice immediately after the stock arrives, and to display the names of the beneficiaries as well as the timing of operation at the shop.
