Sawkmie wants govt resolution on border issue

SHILLONG, Jan 4: Congress MLA, Process T Sawkmie has asked the NPP-led MDA Government to bring a resolution on the floor of the House on the issue of the boundary dispute with Assam.
He asserted that the crucial issue needs to be discussed in detail on the floor of the House before the government moves ahead to resolve the dispute.
Sawkmie also criticized the government for not coming out with the details and said that the matter is being heard and discussed in the media only.
