50 fresh cases push active tally to 145

SHILLONG, Jan 5: Meghalaya on Wednesday logged 50 fresh COVID-19 cases, pushing the state’s active tally to 145.
Out of the fresh cases, East Khasi Hills accounted for 45 cases followed by West Garo Hills with 4 cases and West Jaintia Hills with one case.
Meanwhile, the total confirmed cases and total COVID-19-related fatalities stand at 84,931 and 1,485 respectively.
A total of 83,301 people, on the other hand, have recovered from the infection so far.
