SHILLONG, Jan 6: NWCC beat Aparajita by the bowl-out rule after a thrilling outcome in the 9th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Invitational Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament, here on Thursday. Aparajita batted first and scored 56 runs in 6 overs before NWCC also got to the same score. They won by the bowl-out rule 3-1. Prasonjit Gandha was the Player-of-the-Match. Earlier, United Brothers scored 74 runs in 6 overs after being put in to bat first by Young Guns, who could only reach 53 runs in the allotted 6 overs. Arun Tamang was the Player-of-the-Match. In the last match, The XI beat Mawbah Strickers by 6 wickets. Mawbah Strickers woin the toss and batted first, scoring 45 runs in 6 overs. In reply, The XI managed to score 47 runs in only 3.4 overs. Swarajeet Das was adjudged the Player-of-the-Match.
