Dry day
South West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, C Kharkongor, has declared January 26 as dry day in the district on account of Republic Day. According to the directive in this regard, all liquor shops/ IMFL shops/ bars/ hotels/CA bars/ CS Shops and outstills will remain shut during the day.
